Radio Silence || Stretch & Thomas

Stretch couldn't believe that she'd agreed to this. When she took audio tape she got the night before, it had been just to alert the officers of the fact that two young folks had been brutally murdered by someone.
It was a coincidence that the sheriff was the father of one of the boys. An awful coincidence, because the man walked in just as Stretch was showing the tape to an officer. She'd never seen a grown man look so upset in her whole life. That was the only reason why she agreed to his crazy plan when he explained it to her in the police department parking lot.
She broadcasted the tape once every hour, since her lunch break. She'd just put it on once again and was taking a break, walking around the station to stretch her legs and trying to block out the noise of screams and what sounded like a chainsaw cutting through metal and flesh.
Stretch reached the front and noticed that the door was open. Did LG leave it open? she thought to herself.
It was weird, but it wouldn't be the first time either of them left the door ajar because the other was inside or they were just going to get something from their cars. Sticking her head out, Stretch didn't see his car. So he wasn't back yet. Could it be that he'd left it open in a rush, or maybe she did and didn't notice until now? Either way, she made sure to close and lock it.
Stretch sighed with relief when the tape finally ended, leaving the station quiet– or so she thought until she heard something coming from where they kept the vinyls.
"LG?" Stretch asked, brows furrowing. "If this is another stupid attempt at scaring me, I will kick you where it hurts."
